Specialist personal lines broker Ceta has partnered with software solutions provider Open GI to expand the product set it can offer on its platform.
Ceta currently provides a range of standard and non-standard specialist home and leisure insurance to both retail and wholesale customers, using its own unique technology platform. Ceta is part of Atec, a fast growing top 20 UK insurance group.
The new arrangement with Open GI will add members of the Mobius panel onto Ceta’s platform via the Mobius APIs, broadening the products it can offer to brokers.
Commercial Director James O’Hara commented: “We were looking for something that could integrate with and enhance our own systems, products and services – and that’s exactly what we found in Mobius. The technical architecture and APIs made it a very easy and a natural fit and has extended our capabilities and products without any disruption for our users.
“Ceta brings main market sophistication to niche markets in its product development, pricing and digital led customer experience. We’ve not only been able to access a wide range of new insurance product lines from the Mobius panel, but features like Mobius’s dynamic pricing tool further enhances the control we have of our pricing strategy. The Open GI team have supported us throughout the evaluation, build and delivery phases, and we’re excited to be going live by the end of Q4.”
Open GI Chief Sales Officer Neil Hart said: “It’s been great to work with Ceta and help them evolve through the Mobius platform. Mobius is specifically designed to connect to existing software systems and third-party services and is completely adaptable – flexing with different business priorities and customer needs and growing with your organisation.
“We give people access to our network of incredible partners and providers, alongside granular control of their data, user journeys, and customer experience. For Ceta, that’s meant being able to extend their footprint and their digital support for new and existing customers.”
Mobius is cloud-based, and one of the most advanced insurance broking software platforms on the market. Hosted in Microsoft Azure, it supports a range of providers including brokers, underwriters, scheme managers, premium finance and data enrichment providers to manage the full insurance life cycle.
