For any software item requiring the return of a registration form, questionnaire or configuration sheet, the software will not be available for use if the form is not returned with the signed order. If the forms are returned at a later date once Core Cloud has been deployed, additional services may be required in order to activate the product.

Core Cloud – Exchange Online: It should be noted that this version of O365 does not entitle the customer to install Microsoft Office or the full Outlook client on their own devices.  If customers wish to use the Microsoft Office suite outside of the Core Cloud environment then they will need to purchase their own Microsoft Office licenses.  Alternatively, the free Outlook web-client offers a premium browser-based experience that matches the look and feel of the full Outlook client.  Common mobile platforms such as Android and IOS have free email clients built in as standard. Any support after the original setup will be based on reasonable endeavour’s bases, any additional work after the original setup will need to be discussed with account manager and may be subject to charge.   In order to support migration to the Core Cloud Hosted Email service, the customer’s DNS provider for domain names migrating this service must be able to support SRV and TXT DNS record types. It is the customer’s responsibility to validate that this is the case prior to migration, and/or arrange a suitable replacement DNS provider where this function is not available from the provider.

For an existing customer migration to Core Cloud, there will be downtime required in order to migrate the existing data from the server to the Cloud environment.

The Open GI Core Cloud offering does not support trading in both the UK and ROI markets in a single Core Cloud instance. If a Customer wishes to trade in both the UK and ROI then separate Core Cloud instances will be required.

The “Core Cloud Initial User” detailed on this Order Form forms the platform for the Core Cloud Environment and as such, it can only be terminated as part of a full system termination.

Microsoft 365 connection speeds: Open GI cannot guarantee connectivity or performance of Microsoft 365 Cloud Hosted Service due to the dependency on the customer’s internet connection. The customer may need to consider upgrading the speed of their internet connection if they are not satisfied with performance, or seek advice from their ISP to ensure their existing connection meets their business needs. The consultant or engineer may be able to provide further advice at the site survey stage.   For access to the Microsoft 365 Service Open GI recommend that an FTTC (Standard Fibre-Optic Broadband) or higher speed internet connection is used as a minimum for Office use.  Wi-Fi hotpoints and 3G connections can be used for occasional access to the Microsoft 365 Service, however, performance is likely to be reduced on slower connections.  Open GI are not responsible for service degradation within the Microsoft Cloud Environment and these will be covered under the Microsoft SLA.

The upgrade to Core Cloud may result in additional Software Licences becoming available to the Client.  If the Client wishes to proceed with any of the Software packages not currently in use, this will be subject to an additional chargeable Order Form for any dependencies i.e. Services, Transactional Units etc.
