Welcome to Covered

Hello and thank you for reading our autumn edition of Covered

Like many businesses, we have been settling into our new normal here at Open GI. Our hybrid way of working is in full swing and it’s great to see friends and colleagues in person once again.

This edition is packed full of content, but a couple of must-reads to focus on. Firstly, how the branding of our platforms is progressing now that we are one year into our brand journey. And secondly, we hear from Machine Learning Programs’ Head of Product, James Parry, who provides a fascinating overview on machine learning, why it’s a great tool for the insurance industry and how to get the best from it.

Digital technology – helping you do business the way you want to
In the autumn we unveiled our latest cloud native broking platform, Mobius. Mobius adds another strong dimension to our current portfolio of broking solutions. Which, like all our products, is designed to help you, our customers, do business the way you want.

Mobius truly reflects our current message to the market – digital helps you do business the way you want to. We see our mission as one to inform and educate the market that digital shouldn’t be intimidating, but actually embraced. Our Chief Product Officer, Ben Legg, gave more insight on this at a recent Insurance Age webinar ‘How can brokers unlock their full digital potential?’. I highly recommend watching the on demand recording if you haven’t already. Just follow the link and enter your details into the registration page to view.

To support our message further, we have been creating some great new content around digital, including simplifying what digital transformation actually means. To read our latest Technology Talk content Digital in today’s world, just follow the link. And, as always, if you have a query around digital or our latest solutions, you can speak to your Open GI Account Manager.

With that now said, Covered will land again into your inboxes in early 2022 – so I’ll wish you all a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year now!

All the best,

Simon Badley Open GI CEO
