The technology firm’s Winchester office found numerous ways to raise funds for the charity. This included cake sales, dress-up days, raffles, quizzes, sporting events and more. One employee successfully completed a 980-mile bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats in support of the cause. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) is the independent charity that brings advanced critical care to the most seriously ill and injured patients in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, giving them the best chance of survival and recovery. Called out to an average of six incidents every day, including cardiac arrests, road traffic collisions, falls and assaults, the life-saving service is operational 356-days a year, both day and night.
