Dublin-based broker Kidd Insurances has confirmed a new four-year partnership with market-leading technology provider, Open GI.

Established in 1919, Kidd Insurances is Ireland’s oldest insurance broker. It sells both commercial and personal lines products alongside wholesale schemes, managing everything via its Open GI Back-Office. In recent years, Kidd Insurances has grown its operation significantly.

The new 64-user agreement, which will run until 2018, will see Open GI provide a wide range of additional technology, allowing Kidd Insurances to manage its retail business, wholesale schemes business and facilitate the virtualisation of its Core Back-Office platform.

“The technology that Open GI provides is a key business enabler for Kidd Insurances. Through the robust and flexible nature of the system, we have been able to tailor the Open GI platform to suit our specific business requirements.”

Kidd Insurances’ Managing Director, Noel Sweetman, said:

“We are delighted that Kidd Insurances has extended its partnership with Open GI, particularly as we both look to develop and grow our market share. With continued investment in research and development, we are confident that Kidd Insurances will benefit from this recent investment.”
