Broker Network reinforces commitment to Countrywide products

Broker Network has today announced a renewed commitment to developing bespoke Countrywide products as part of a strategic partnership with Open GI and PowerPlace.

Broker Network is detailing this as the next phase in a 20 year long relationship between the two companies.

Countrywide products, which are exclusive to Broker Network members using the Open GI platform, are designed to assist with business growth and give members an edge over competitors. Until now, Countrywide products have been purely Personal Lines orientated. Broker Network and Open GI have agreed to extend the Countrywide product into SME Commercial Lines SME via PowerPlace for the first time.

Working with a number of partner insurers, the UK’s leading network of insurance brokers is focusing efforts on delivering Countrywide versions of Shops and Offices, Tradesman and Property Owners products via Open GI and PowerPlace.

“It is very personal to me that we renew our commitment to Countrywide products. As many of our members will know, I began my career at Countrywide many years ago and have an affinity with the name and the ethos behind these products.”

Commenting on this news, CEO of Broker Network, Andy Fairchild, said:

“Working with our strategic partners, we will be developing products and schemes which have a ‘Network Edge’. Once again, we are safeguarding a competitive advantage for members by committing to strategic, long term partnerships with companies that understand and support our proposition.”

Commenting on this news, CEO of Broker Network, Andy Fairchild, said:

“Both Open GI and PowerPlace have enjoyed a strong relationship with Countrywide and Broker Network over the years. The network is highly regarded in supporting the broker community and I am delighted to continue to work with Andy and his team.”

Chris Guillaume, Open GI Group CEO, added:

“Open GI in conjunction with PowerPlace will no doubt enhance the Countrywide proposition, ensuring network members are equipped with up-to-date and innovative solutions for both Personal and Commercial Lines; ultimately boosting brokers’ ability to serve their end-customers both online and offline in a competitive marketplace.”
